Dr. Tierney is an extremely accomplished DMD who takes a holistic and comprehensive approach to dental health as part of total wellness. She always starts on time and is highly efficient. Her office staff is very polite and always does their best to make me feel at home. Her hygienists are professional and make me feel like I am in the hands of true experts. Having visited several practices across Fairfield County for complex dental issues, I can say that Dr. Tierney’s practice is the best I have experienced by far for everything from routine cleanings to advanced procedures. This has to be the worst dental practice in the area. The doctor is extremely rude and doesn't allow you to speak or ask questions! She charges $500 for 1 filling and $398 for a cleaning and then says that you need 3 MI paste $25 at each appointment every 3 months which is how many times they want you to come her for your cleaning! $2157 for a crown and adds on the temporary crown for $600 then the buildup for the crown which is another $600. The hygienist does the exams and not the doctor but you still get charged for it even if she doesn't step in the room. I've come back 6 times which I had to pay for each appointment even though she messed up and for a filling that she did because it constantly hurt for the last 6 months now she tells me I need a root canal and a crown. Welcome to Greenwich where this doctor thinks because we have money that she can have it all. Go to a better experienced dentist who has customer service skills. And the office is freezing and instead of turning the heat up they give u a space blanket that is thin and looks like foil. It's really weird!
