We purchased a home from John in 2022. There were many issues that needed fixing. Some were taken care of such as the foundation crack with water coming in, after a week and a half, however we have still not been able to get a copy of the receipt from the company that fixed it for the warrenty. A broken sump pump cover was replaced after I told him duct tape covering the 10" crack in the sealed radon system was unacceptable. A chip in the bathtub was repaired. Most repairs he blew off as unimportant. Promises to correct were not followed thru on. Repairs from our inspector prior to closing that were signed off on to be repaired before closing by John were ignored. We were told that "just because I signed it doesn't mean I have to do it". Actually, it does. We had ceiling fans installed with one screw holding them up. Framing not plumb, but according to John, that's not necessary. The cracked foundation, which was repaired after over a week, but the carpet from all the dirty water that leaked in was never cleaned. Missing ducts in one of the bedrooms. Electrical box issues that our inspector said should be fixed. Changes of installed vanities and counter tops without our approval and refusing to fix them. Chipped flooring, smoke alarms falling out of the ceiling, warped and misaligned cabinets. So many issues it's ridiculous. I would not recommend this builder at all. If you do, get EVERYTHING in writing so you have documentation. And I wouldn't count on the home being delivered on time.
