My son rented from this place. When we met with the building manager she stated she would be like mom to him. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, however rushed the process and did not thoroughly go over the process/terms. Unfortunately he had to sublease half way through. You pay the place $100 to sublease and you have to find a person they do not. They told us when signed the lease they do. Then the parking pass that is close to $500 for the year they do not return it and then charge the person that subleases the same amount. Then the $900 security deposit and was told verbally would be returned after sublease person moved out. It never arrived my son contacted them and was told check is in the mail. Still never arrived and lease was up beginning of August. He calls first week of October to ask where it is at and they now tell him he doesnt get it even though subleased the the remainder of year and they supposedly do not charge sublease person a deposit. Why tell someone the check is in the mail and it is not. College students starting out are typically on fixed incomes. Shame on this facility and management. Very unprofessional, misleading & deceitful company. Would not recommend. Yes, great its across from stadium, but terrible service. I moved around in the military for 21 years and never experienced such lack of customer service until this place. Taking advantage of young adults out on their own for the first time is shameful. Stealing almost $1400 from a 20 year old is disgraceful. Again please do not rent from this place! As parent being reassured verbally they are not going to screwed you kid over and that is exactly what they did.

I have been living here for 3.5 years and it has been great. The staff here are amazing, informative, and personable. The place is safe and welcoming and inclusive.

Just a follow up after SIX years of my son renting an apartment at Riverwatch Towers.  The experience has been fantastic, no complaints, only praise.  The landlord, Chuck Matthews, has been great to my son, very caring and responsive to any questions or needs.  The security guards and staff in the office at Riverwatch Towers have always been helpful, friendly and available.There are tailgate parties during the home game weekends during the football season, but my son has a unit facing the river in the back of the building, so no noise complaints at all.  Aside from litterally being across the road from campus, there is easy access to the wonderful Olentangy Trail for walking and biking.  Posting this update because my son graduating and moving to Illinois at the end of May and just wanted anybody looking for a place to rent to know what a great experience renting from Chuck has been.
