I'd like to be clear that Ryan was the most helpful and pleasant part of the experience. When I dropped by the office for help, he was efficient and friendly. That being said, it's unfortunate he works for an awful company like Allstate.
All I needed was to file a claim to get a dent fixed on my car when someone hit me. The process began June 1, and ended July 12 with me giving up and calling, telling them to cancel the claim. If you call them, expect to either have them call you back later, or be on hold for 30 minutes, or sometimes longer. When I finally got the claim set up, I got the estimate and emailed it. After about a week, I had to call them for a follow-up cuz they never got back to me. The two times they were asked to send me a check (first by me, then by my insurance company), they rejected and insisted on paying the body shop directly.
To be fair, the straw that broke the camel's back was not Allstate's doing, but rather not being able to get the car in the shop in time before my move, when I'd already quit my job. Still, being on hold for an ungodly amount of time and not being even remotely willing to negotiate was not helpful. I pray to God the next person that hits me doesn't have Allstate, cuz I'd sooner declare my car totalled or let them off the hook than go through a month and a half of garbage. They are very helpful and I feel I pay a fair price for my rental and auto insurance.

I have tried to call many times there is never anyone in the office to answer and they do not give you a call back. Its just a endless cycle of no help unless you call the support line
