The Ashford inn is a beautiful, comfortable oasis while traveling through the area. The historic home and its guest rooms are impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Proprietors Wally and Jessica are responsive and very welcoming. Breakfasts at the moment are grab and go offerings of fruit, yogurt and energy bars. Would love to see them return to a traditional hot breakfast. Also, while the inns location in charming little Clinton is a beautiful neighborhood, the street running by the house seems to be a favorite route for cars with loud (or no) mufflers. Thankfully all was quiet for the night and we slept very well.

The hosts are top notch. The home is well maintained, beautiful with history, and has all the amenities that you could need. This is my go-to spot when working in Clinton and its the highlight of my travels. I rarely come in contact with the other guests in the home, but when I do they are just as lovely to speak with as the hosts. I travel for work alone often and am always comfortable with my safety at Ashford.

If there was an option to have more than five stars in each of rooms, service, location I would give a googolplex in stars! I can not say enough about our experience at Ashford Inn located in Clinton North Carolina. Wally is fast prompt and answers the phone or text every time you call or text him. The rooms are amazing. Very nice very clean very comfortable beds, amazing shower and bath facilities. The service that he provided again, is above my expectations location if you're trying to stay with Inn Clinton, North Carolina or somewhere close to it it's amazing location in a historical area. We had my father's memorial service from out of town there when we had the memorial service, and felt like we were in one of our family members.Wally treated us like we were his family. My fathers memorial service went off with out any issues! All that attended stated they felt like they were visiting in OUR FAMILY home! This meant the world to me. I don't have the older family that has the big house in Clinton any more but Wally made sure it was all taken care of. If you want a get away of need weddings, baby showers, memorials, EXT. Call Wally !!!

I housed my family here during a funeral weekend. The owner met us to settle them in and came back a couple of times to bring things they needed such as more blankets, etc. We had a huge group and it was perfect. Beautiful home with great facilities.

Such a cute cottage. Well appointed. Comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom hand soap is literally the best smelling hand soap I have ever used. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Ashford Inn.
