Working with realtor Carrie Desoto was one of the BEST decisions I've ever agreed to! We can't thank her (and her team) enough!
Carrie is dedicated, focused, available, and was flexible to our schedules and needs. She patiently answered all of our questions, always responding either immediately or very timely. Carrie's team of professionals, (including a home inspector, loan officer, title company) has worked reliably with her for so long that together that they make the process run smoothly, even when unforeseen major obstacles came into play. ( We had to negotiate replacing an entire roof that was rotting, unbeknownst to the seller! And, as an added challenge, we were out of the country for a week during the escrow period! But no obstacle was too imposing for Carrie. She kept the focus for us and the "to do list" rolling along, communicating with us daily.) Carrie was respectful of our wishes as well as professional in offering her best advice, in all aspects of the home buying process.
I highly recommend Carrie! She has become one of the family.

Carrie has been our agent through 7 transactions (4 purchases and 3 sales) over the last 10 years. Our most recent transaction over the summer was particularly challenging. At many points during the purchase it seemed that things were falling apart but she held it together and got it closed. Every transaction has come with a variety of challenges that Carrie dealt with and supported us through. She is very knowledgeable, professional, responsive and personable. I have worked with many realtors around the Portland area and Carrie is by far the best! Her more than 20 years in the real estate business is apparent. Professionally loving! The relationship that Carrie deliberately builds with her clients, goes beyond just trying to "land a sale" for her own pocket but was of genuine care and love for a first time home buyer who was putting his entire life's savings and future lifestyle in her hands.
She treated me like I was her only client and even moreso like i was her very own relative and her skills as a realtor were overwhelming! If I had doubts or worries, she helped me take the time I needed to take a breath and regather my thoughts. She was always there to take on the painful paperwork process and was never afraid to put my scheduling needs before her own. She rocked the entire process!!! If i could select 6 stars I would.
Carrie is someone I can recommend now to my family, friends, and yes, strangers. That is the level of trust she built with me through the entire process.
She is that professional "friend" you definitely WANT fighting in your corner for you! And she is not afraid to strap the boxing gloves on when you need her to.
