I had a truly terrible experience with this dentist and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. I had a dental procedure scheduled, and as instructed, I took the medication prescribed by Dr. Diaz beforehand to prepare. Unfortunately, I arrived seven minutes late to my appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. Let me clarify that this was well within the courtesy time window they typically allow for tardiness.
To my shock and dismay, Dr. Diaz refused to see me despite my explanation of the situation. I even pleaded with the receptionist to convey the fact that I had taken time off work and was under the influence of a sedative that Dr. Diaz himself had prescribed for the procedure. However, my pleas fell on deaf ears, and Diaz adamantly denied my appointment without providing any valid reason or explanation.
This level of callousness and lack of empathy is appalling, to say the least. As a patient, I expected to be treated with basic respect and understanding, especially considering the circumstances. Instead, l was met with indifference and disregard for my well-being.
I strongly advise against trusting this dentist with your dental care. If they can't even accommodate a patient who arrives slightly late due to extenuating circumstances, then they clearly prioritize their schedule over the well-being and comfort of their patients. Save yourself the frustration and find a dentist who actually cares about their patients' needs.

Dr. Diaz made me a promise to close my gap in one year and he did nothing less than deliver. Even in the midst of the pandemic he was still able to make me feel comfortable and accomplish what we'd talked about in the beginning of my treatment. I really appreciate him and his staff especially Edwin who made sure at every visit we addressed concerns and caught up on everything. They made me feel like family. Thank you so much!!!
