I am one that doesnt typically leave reviews. I do feel that this needs to be seen in a review. My husband and I have been going to Cindy for a few years now. Her personality was always a bit off but overall she seemed to be an okay doctor. Every year we go for our eye exams she always has new office staff. Whichs seemed off, but I honestly didnt think much about it. Fast forward to this year. We both arrived for our exams. The office lady was in a horrible mood. You could tell she was annoyed and didnt want to be there. She rushed through my eye testing. I didnt question it much, it just made me feel comfortable. Once I get back in Cindys room I express to her that my insurance is not paying for frames this year. I ask if I can have my prescription because I am going to have to order frames online. Realistically I didnt want to pay 200-300 for frames. I pay for insurance for a reason. Online offered cheaper frames. She didnt seem thrilled about that, and was hesitant to give me my prescription but she did. I ordered my glasses, received them in a timely manner. Instantly I knew something was off. They were to blurry. I wore them for 5 days thinking my eyes just needed to adjust. I even called into her office to verify my prescription and they ensured me that my prescription didnt change much. I was in a hard spot, did the online frames mess the perception up or did she? I went and got a second opinion. They put my new glasses in a reader that read the prescription off. The prescription matched identical to what she wrote. Its not the glasses at this point. They did an exam on my eyes and got something completely different then she did. They even showed what they got vs what she had. Wow! Big difference. I called her office and asked if shed recheck my eyes. In all, I have been going to her for awhile. She refused to recheck my eyes because I ordered my glasses online. She and her staff both said its because you ordered them. You will have to come in a pick a pair of our glasses. More-less she wouldnt recheck them because she knew she messed up. Not only did I have to pay out of pocket for a recheck, I also paid her my co pay when I went for my eye exam. I think about what if I had wrecked my car or something while trying to use the prescription she wrote. Rewind to our eye exam with her. My husband forgot to get his prescription so I walked back in to get it. There was a couple at the desk questioning their bill they were being charged. After they left, the office girl told Cindy she wish she could just punch some people. Then they began talking about that couple and how they are just unable people. I work in the medical field. I know people talk, but not in front of other patients. I thought to myself, what did they say about us when we left? If this is what they are saying about them. Cindy has lost our business unfortunately due to both of these issues.

Very clean lobby, friendly staff, fast service. They were also amazing with my kids!

Saw Dr. Elrich last year and was impressed with how she and her staff took care of me. Will most definitely be going back to see her for a checkup and possibly a new pair of glasses.

Never had an issue here. Was reading some of the comments below about insurance and employees. Never been my experience on both counts. Be rest assured, if there were employee issues there before, they are no longer there now. Service is great, attitudes are professional - very patient and helpful. My wife and I have been here several times. I choose this care over VA care (I am a Veteran).

I called in for an appointment and the receptionist was very rude. I had bought an insurance policy from my place of employment and they offer free frames from Dr. Elrich's office. The only eye doctor in town that offers this package might I add. As soon as she seen that I had care source for a couple of months while I was job hunting, which I don't have now. She started saying something  about me having care source and stopped mid sentence and then told me they weren't expecting new patients. I explained I was willing to pay out of pocket for whatever my new policy didn't cover but she just continued to be hateful to me so I hung up. I made an appointment at Pearl Vision and they weren't rude to me at all. Don't give this office your time or money I have heard nothing but bad things about them and they proved it!
