I saw Dr. Micco approximately in the mid 90s and I remember him as though I saw him yesterday. He was very kind, professional and caring. Dr. Micco diagnosed my problem after a previous doctor I saw through a different medical group said that I didn't have the condition at all. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Micco to anyone who is able to see him.

Dr.Micco has helped me with my Sudden Hearing Loss. The journey Ive been on was full of stress and worry back home where I was not getting questions answered. I decided to go to North Western for help. Dr.Micco took the time to answer all my questions and helped me recover a large part of my hearing. Im still working through the hearing loss and tinnitus but Ive made a big improvement from where I was. I would recommend Dr.Micco to anyone experiencing hearing loss!!! Thank you Dr.Micco!!

Dr Micco insisted my inner ears were fine in a quick phone apt last Fall(after chronic vertigo set in). Also insisted an upcoming possible surgery for different issue would be fine to undergo, no need to worry about any inner ear damage or risk from anesthesia on inner ear parts. Months later, I go through extensive vestibular testing ordered by a different ENT(Thankfully I found an excellent one now), I DO have inner ear damage to right utricle and saccule. Thanking myself for being persistent and looking elsewhere for help! Dr Micco was wrong, and flippant. Too comfortable in his dismissive attitude. Bad combo. Now I'll need to look into brainstem testing as recommended by my COMPETENT vestibular dr. In addition, PT for BPPV(as advised by Dr Micco)would've done nothing and possibly could've induced other balance issues. Just because I'm a female and I have POTS, does not mean other issues I notice don't deserve a THOROUGH investigation. Growing very tiresome of that attitude, Northwestern.
