I bought a new 29.9 Cu. ft. LG refrigerator in December of 2018, and based on the product sales pitch from the salesperson, we decided not to spend the additional $300 for an extended warranty. After only 4 months, it started making noises that kept getting louder every day. When I called Pacific Sales to see if they could offer any assistance, I was told that they only provide that kind if assistance if the buyer purchases the $300 extended warranty ( Can you say "extortion"?) LG told me that the problem is likely due to frost buildup, and the only fix is a manual defrost, ala 1950's products. Pacific Sales used to be the one appliance seller that I could count on to be honest before they promoted an inferior product. Guess that's changed.

I like to shop at BestBuy, but their appliance price is just not attractive. You can simply find better price and model somewhere else.
