I was at the ER about a month or so ago. I provided my insurance information to the registration people and yet dignity and envision physician services failed to run claims through my insurance which has delayed payment because of the hospitals failure to provide the information.
I find it appalling that none one of the businesses ran it through. In fact when I called I got told they didnt have it on file.
What is the purpose of me providing the insurance card to the registration to scan it in if they didnt actually put it in on my file?
Also, when someone calls to speak to someone the first thing they should ask for is a name, not an account #. How rude and unwelcoming to just ask for an account # instead of my name.

This place is the best. I had some heart procedure done. Scary but they made feel like I had nothing to worry about.

Hands down best hospital experience. Every staff member I encountered on my 3 day stay was amazingfrom transport to physician.

I didn't get it clear diagnosis and I left feeling just as bad if not worse than when I came in. I came in with shortness of breath and wheezing. Tests were done to conclude that I did not have covid nor did I have an infection of some sort. But when I was discharged, I still had shortness of breath almost worse than when I came in. On my way home I stopped at a Walgreens and bought an over-the-counter inhaler for asthma. It took care of me immediately. I don't understand why the doctors didn't treat me for an asthma attack at the hospital? Nothing was really done to alleviate my symptoms at all, which makes me insecure since I live alone and depend on the hospital to help take care of me if something goes wrong??
Update: I later received a bill from them for $6000.00!?!? When all they did for me was absolutely nothing but waste 4 hours of my time! And that I finally went and had to cure myself with a $39.99 over-the counter inhaler from CVS!! I am done with hospitals! I'll take my chances with Google medical advice before I throw myself into financial ruin by going to a hospital that will do absolutely nothing for me anyway! What a joke!
