I was at Arizona Camera Works briefly. I was going to leave my camera there for repairs because it wouldn't turn on. I hadn't used it for 7 years, plus I had to buy and charge a new battery.
Once in the shop, I turned it on to show the repair guy my camera wasn't turning on - my camera worked!
He said sometimes new batteries don't charge the first time, and when I had put the battery on the charger a 2nd time, the battery had properly charged up.
I bought the battery at a Batteries R US place and wasn't sure the battery was correct, as it fit a touch loosely.
I didn't buy anything as I didn't need to. The information the repair guy told me about the battery issue was really helpful.
This shop is located in an area where parking is easier to find [city of Chandler]. It's also closer to my house than the camera place I've used previously.
I'll go back to Arizona Camera Works again.

A friend recommended Arizona camera works I have taken two of my Nikon DSLR'S there
Morris is awesome!!
I highly recommend him.

Morris is a great guy! Really knows his cameras and lenses. I brought one of each in for a cleaning and to check on focus recalibration... Morris let me know what I was hoping was not the case but I needed a new camera. He was upfront with me about the repair cost and I decided to forego the repair and just buy new equipment . Good excuse for me to upgrade I'll be bringing in my other gear for cleaning and adjusting. The reason why I took off one star was that he told me I would have my cameras back from him in 2 to 3 days, it ended up being almost 3 weeks! I am a professional photographer and it really put me in a bind! However he did offer to pop in on a Saturday so I could pick my items up.
