Storm Chaser

Luke Anderson, owner of Division 7, Building Resource Group came to McGregor, Iowa, July 20, 2017, the day after McGregor was hit by a tornado. The residents of McGregor who signed a contract with him, deeply regrets it. Anderson promised quality products, timely and impeccable workmanship. It has been anything but those promises. Anderson claims he has been in business for 10, 11, or 22 years, depending on which social media site, Wordpress, Linkedin, etc.... I have read. Building Resource Group, LLC was formed Oct 2, 2007, dissolved, Aug 3, 2011 and reinstated May 15, 2016. Anderson registered Building Resource Group with Iowa Workforce Development, for the first and only time, March, 2017. If he has been in business for as long has he claims, he has been in business illegally. Division 7 was formed May 11, 2017. This information is public record. Most of his other claims on social media is a figment of his imagination. The work that has been started by non-employees is sub-standard and not finished. A McGregor resident hired an attorney to look at Anderson. The Attorney said "He couldn't find anything bad about him." At first glance, Anderson's credentials seems impressive, but then when looking deeper, it's not true. A Production/Quality Control employee and Anderson was at my friends rental, after signing a Contingency Agreement with Building Resource Group. They put plastic on one of the four broken windows. The tenant cut the excess plastic off that was blowing the wind. The employee introduced Anderson as his boss. Anderson did not introduce himself as the owner. Afterwards Anderson and the employee sat and drank beer with the tenant. The charge for that one piece of used plastic was $434,00. The same thing happened at my friends residence. The employee introducing Anderson as his boss and again Anderson did not introduce himself as the owner of Building Resource Group. They put three tarps on his house, porch and garage roof. The charge for the three tarps, was over $1900.00. Another resident who signed a Construction Agreement, as of today, Nov 27, 2017 has no siding, broken windows, and no porch door. My friends rental property has a substandard siding job and is unfinished. If a county has been declared a disaster, there are consequences for price gouging and misrepresentation by the Attorney General. Anderson is holding thousands of dollars of McGregor residence money and is no where to be seen. My friend signed two Contingency Agreements and one Construction Agreement. One was too many!
