I loved the inn. I spent a day or two on a beautiful, remote coastline in a safe, historic, and cozy room. I tend to travel alone and I am so thankful I spent my time here. The room (#8) was clean and cozy. The shower reminded me of my childhood in CT growing up in a 100+ year house. Breakfast (complimentary) was perfect. The blueberry jam stole the show. The inn was also within an hour of Acadia national park. There is not much to eat around the area, so plan ahead. I would not recommend this location for families or small children.

Beautiful old inn with a wonderful staff. They were over the top accommodating with Covid. Can't wait to come back!

The inn is a classic along the Maine coast. Although the king accommodation with a garden and bay view was inviting, the room itself had numerous panels of wallpaper coming down. For what we paid I expected better than something we would find at a drive up motel room. The owner apologizes profusely, but I would have appreciated a refund of some sort.
