I honestly wish I had a 6th star to add. My wife and I hadn’t been away together for a night without kids in nearly 5 years, and could not be more happy with our choice to join Theresa and Richard at the Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins.
Theresa greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave us a small tour, pointing out important things on the property. We stayed in the Salmon Berry cabin, and it was absolutely perfect. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the cabins, and around the grounds are immaculate. It almost feels brand new, which is a pretty incredible feat!
We got fantastic recommendations for places to go in the area (we went to Riverside for lunch, and Celilo for dinner, both great- Celilo was FANTASTIC), which was incredibly helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the cabin with some provided popcorn and movies (available in the office) after dinner.
I popped into the office later in the day and was greeted by name by Theresa - made it feel like we were staying with family.
Breakfast was perfect, I was expecting something very basic, and was blown away by all of the freshly made food- huevos rancheros with homemade pico de gallo, muffins, honey butter… it was wonderful.
While the cabins are reasonably close, they are set up in a way that we never felt like anyone was encroaching on our privacy. We don’t have the opportunity to ‘splurge’ on ourselves very much, we are SO glad that we chose Carson Ridge for this stay, and we are already looking to find the next time we can go!

Beautiful cabin with an absolutely delicious breakfast. Stunning scenery everywhere you look. Luxury vibes meet a cozy cabin getaway and we can’t wait to be back. Thank you Theresa and Richard!!

My wife and I recently stayed here and were extremely pleased with our stay. The location worked great for us, with a brewpub and coffee shop just across the street.
We loved the breakfast delivery to the cabin, so delicious and accommodated our dietary requests. The grounds were fantastic, with lawn games available as well as multiple fireplaces both gas and wood. Not to mention being on I think about 9 acres for a nice morning walk.
I'm sure we'll be planning a return trip in the future.

Theresa and Richard offer a rare and special kind of hospitality at their cabins, which I was fortunate to discover after being unexpectedly waylaid during my PCT hike, thanks to their generosity. I had a delightful stay in the knotty pine cabin, beautifully decorated and toasty warm with the gas fireplace, comfortable bed and luxurious, large, jetted soaking tub, complete with scented bath salts and candles. The breakfast, accompanied by a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers grown on the grounds, was truly outstanding, and it's clear that Theresa not only is a fantastic cook, she loves what she does and radiates warmth and genuine caring. The landscaping was wonderful and created a very peaceful setting. Carson itself is a great place to be, so much to do and see! If you have the opportunity to stay here, this is a truly special place.
