Would not recommend had an appointment set up for over 5 weeks they can't do my insurance wait for 2 days before to let me know reception girl seemed to have an I don't care attitude

1st experience was great. My daughters counselor Brooke is amazing. She gave my daughter time to get comfortable and open up and has done wonders for her. Second experience was horrible. My step son had one visit with Ben. After one visit and 10 mins into the second our step son was told he could leave. Went to speak with Ben, and he stated that our child isnt ready for counseling and that if he isnt willing to open up we should find a different counselor. Youd think it would take anyone let alone a child whos been through trauma more than one session to feel comfortable and open up. The most rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate interaction Ive ever had with any healthcare worker in my life. Absolutely unacceptable.

This is the most amazing, caring, group of people that I have ever met. They sincerely care about you and my time with them has been very encouraging and helpful.I have recommended many people to Thrive and its everyone is very thankful as well.

One visit and wouldn't go back. I noticed while filling out the initial paper work that they will charge you 100 dollars for a missed appointment!! I've never been to a dentist, doctor's office, or any other therapist's office that would charge you 100 dollars for a missed visit. I was immediately put off by this, but still did the session. The therapist barely said a single word. The only thing she could offer is "there's always hope".. That was all she could say while I talked about the most private things in my life. That's worth 100 dollars if you miss an appointment??
There were huge awkward pauses during the session. When I went to leave there was no attempt or suggestion to sign up for another appointment (which, I'm actually totally fine with, but what the heck??).. And even though it was an older hippie woman, she gripped my hand like she was Donald Trump when shaking my hand goodbye. It was just weird. Anyway, that's my experience. Hope others have better luck, but you better not miss an appointment!
