Marvin Groves Electric has always done any electrical work for my mother's home. Recently, my mother experienced a short in her sub electrical panel caused by aluminum wiring. I phoned Marvin and explained her situation. Within two hours the same day, Marvin's electrician phoned me to say they were on their way. What a relief that was! I was expecting, possibly the next day or later.
The electrician and apprentice arrived quickly. They were both very professional and kind. They quickly assessed the situation and articulated the repairs that needed to be made. They explained that to do the repairs correctly where copper meets aluminum, they needed to return to the shop for special "lug" fastners, wire, etc. They returned promptly and proceeded directly to making the repairs. They completed the repairs, cleaned up the work area and thanked my mother.
Glory hallelujah! Everything worked; power and heat restored!
Marvin Groves, his staff, and crew treat my mother like family.
