image Thank you everyone here from the cafeteria workers to CNAs, nurses, PAs, doctors. We had an unfortunate emergency surgery for my wife and we are not from around here.
Everyone was warm and welcoming during her stay and couldnt have asked for a better crew. Special shoutouts to Casey the PA-C, Lipai, and Kareen.

image The reviews are accurate. Very good doctors and nurses, completely miserable to deal with on the administrative side. Any time I take my son in for a routine check up I get sent to Mychart to pay the bill and for one reason or another it isnt there. I call their billing department to pay the balance, and then out of nowhere I get a call from a collections agency looking for some absurdly small amount of money that CHA inexplicably sent to collections instead of just accepting during all the attempts I made to pay it. Reckless, lazy and ignorant and no one from CHA has ever acknowledged it.

image visited the ER for a suspected case of pneumonia (later confirmed). I had a very pleasant experience with everyone except for nurse McKenzie, who seems like the unhappiest person on the planet and overall, just a mean girl. I do not expect someone to be jumping for the moon when visiting emergency services, but I am expecting them to have some sort of bedside manner. Nurse McKenzie was dismissive when explaining symptoms and current medications, Im on. I was offered over-the-counter medicine initially, which I declined because I had explained that I am already taking them and theyre not working hence why Im in the emergency room. Nurse, McKenzie brushed it off and as soon as she left my room, she mentioned a snarky comment to her coworker about how I had refused the medications. Her coworker then responded with a sassy comment. All right outside my open door.
As one can imagine, hearing your nurse talk s*** about you its not a great feeling when you are in the emergency room because you cannot breathe. If you want to talk poorly about patients, go ahead just make sure that you are not within
earshot.
Everyone else- front desk and doctor were great and helpful. Its a shame that the person who triages And spends the most time with you happens to be the one with absolutely no bedside manner.

image Avoid this hospital. The hospital, Cambridge Public Health Commission is doing business as Cambridge Health Alliance. They dont advertise that they are a public entity until you get a bill from CPHC. The patient relations work remotely and unprofessional. No competent ADA/504 Coordinator ( new one started March 8th but immediately claimed she was on vacation and failed to follow a patient grievance process). The new primary care doctor was the most unprofessional, incompetent doctor I have ever met. Assaad Sayah, Commissioner of CPHA is CEO of CHA, yet has failed to address these patient concerns. .
