As a long time resident in the city and a nonprofit leader, I am very pleased with on the holistic approach of Royal Capital to addressing the wellbeing of the community. They are using real estate strategies to increase the efforts of well-being through housing, health, education and many other facets of life. Kudos to them in being a beacon of light in our community.

Royal Capital are the owners of The Harmony apartment complex in Madison. This complex has experience multiple shootings recently. The City of Madison and local officials have requested Royal Capital perform specific improvements to the property to ensure the safety of tenants. For four years Royal Capital has been dragging their feet in delivering these improvements. Four years. Multiple shootings. How many more people have to die for Royal Capital Group to take the action our community is telling them to take? This company took tax payer money for this property and promised to do these things when the built this complex. Four. Years. Later. They have failed to deliver their promises. Violence continues to escalate. How can any bank know that this property company is not holding up their end of the deal they made with taxpayers to provide a safe environment for low income families and still provide them financial resources? How can any company want to do business with a company that is not taking actions that could save lives?

Stay away from this group that claims to be care about the community ! I live next to one of their affordable housing projects in Madison where we have had two murders in 3 months, as well as mulitple shootings. It has been deemed a chronic nuisance from the city and management keeps promising our community that they will make improvements, but they are all empty promises. The blood of a 15-year old girl is on their hands because they have failed to take appropriate measures that our city has been demanding of them for years. You will see verified articles of how they have failed our community time and time again.
