I have worked my way through the company since 2007. I even left for a few years to go to Epic then came crawling back as there is no place that compares to my family here at ETC. Even while I was gone, I came back to visit often to see the friendly faces. The Foster family and the executive team truly care so much for the employees and it shows. You will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming and caring group of human beings. This company is now 100% employee owned, unlike any other lighting company out there and we do a large majority of our manufacturing right here in Wisconsin and ship our product to projects located around the globe to be used everywhere from hospitals to The Sydney Opera House. Incredibly proud of this place and all the people that are a part of it!

This company is probably the most racist company ever. Their paint line is even worse. I worked there through a Temp Agency for 11 months without getting hired on. I was never absent from work but these racists never appreciated. I watched my fellow African Americans come in through Temp Agency only to be terminated after a week, two weeks or a maximum of about two months. As probably the longest temp employee, I thought I would be hired on only to be terminated after 11 hours of hard labor. Mardi, Bill and Richard are super White racists who never hire a black person to work on the Paint Line Dept where I worked. The same can be said about other departments. The black people working in this company is not up to 2% of the total workforce. To secure your place to work there tomorrow as a black person, you have to work double of what other people do. Black people thinking of a full time job should avoid this company because they will use you and dump you. Other people especially white people are free to do whatever including absence but a black person should not dream of such. They used me for 11 months and dumped me, and I don't wish such for any other black person
