When we look at our images from Christy, we are transported back to our most perfect day, filled with love and happiness! Her images capture our love in such a bright and romantic way. During the planning process, Christy made us feel more organized and prepared. On the day of our wedding, she was the perfect mix of calm but also assertive. Christy was flexible with requests, but also willing to tell us what would work and what wouldnt.
Christys experience and professionalism reduced our stress leading up to, and on the day of, our wedding. We are so thankful we chose Christy Hunter as our wedding photographer!!

Christy Hunter is an amazing and receptive photographer. I initially reached out to her because she mentioned being organized and nerdy, something I have in common with her. My now-husband Daniel and I had never been professionally photographed, and Christy made it easy for us to learn how to pose. Our engagement photo shoot was in November, it was cold and it was windy. Christy didn't balk at that though, she captured some amazing photos of us that afternoon despite the weather not being cooperative at all. She even managed to include the Moon in photos of us, a special request that I wasn't even sure was possible. Despite generally not liking photos of myself, I absolutely loved the pictures Christy took of Daniel and I. I knew I had made the right decision in picking Christy Hunter as our photographer for our wedding.
For the big day, Christy planned a timeline to keep us all organized throughout the day and to make sure we got all the right pictures. Christy, and her assistant photographer Nathanael, were well prepared, organized, and excited for the wedding. My favorite color is orange, and the color palette for the wedding included bright, warm-colored flowers, and my dress had a flowy tulle skirt. I was hoping for photos that captured the brightness and colorfulness of the flowers, the gentle wistfulness and almost ethereal-ness of my skirt, and the immense happiness and joy that Daniel and I felt on our wedding day. And wow did Christy deliver just that. I was expecting great photos from our wedding, but I did not expect to be sitting on the couch for more than an hour, just grinning at the sneak peek of photos Christy sent us a week after the wedding. Christy exactly captured the essence and feel of the wedding, the emotions we felt, and the wonderfulness of spending such a beautiful day with loved ones.
I could not possibly more highly recommend Christy as a wedding photographer. She's extremely organized and keeps herself on-time, a trait I highly value in a vendor. She captured our absolutely perfect wedding day on camera, enabling us to keep and save those memories for decades to come. The sheer joy and happiness she captured in our photos keeps amazing me. I am 100% now that bride that obsesses over her wedding photos, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Here's the deal! Christy is amazing, professional, personable, energetic, and adorable. Working with her is like working with a friend and she just has this way about her that can put anyone at ease in front of the camera. Christy's work is bright, beautiful, perfectly composed and will be exactly what you want! She did an entire shoot with my dad, and not only did she provide her input, but she also listened to our thoughts and helped make them a reality. She patiently took SO MANY shots and provided them to us with instructions on how to post/share/print, etc. She communicates everything you need and provides tips to get your best shots well before the shoot. She checks in constantly and answers any questions almost immediately. I have been to (and through) several sessions with different photographers, and hers was by far the most enjoyable and relaxed. I didn't hesitate to hire her for this session, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again in the future. If you are looking for that special photographer to catalog your important moments, Christy is the one!!

We literally couldn't be happier that we went with Christy. We did our engagement shoot with her and she instantly made us feel comfortable (we were so nervous!). It was like we had been friends with Christy for years! Our engagement shoot was just MAGICAL, the pictures were amazing. This of course had us very pumped for what Christy's work would look like for the wedding. She did not disappoint, the wedding pictures were PHENOMENAL! Aside from all the perfect pictures, Christy has a glorious way of making you feel like the star, feel comfortable, and making you know that she cares about her work and you. She really dives in to her job, caring about her clients, and really making sure you get the best experiences and photos you could ask for. We HIGHLY recommend Christy for any shoot you need, she is the bomb!
