It was late Monday night when we had a Catastrophic Tree Incident, where a big ol limb decided it had enough of this cruel, cruel world and ended it all. Unfortunately, when it did, it ended up leaning heavily on my friend's car, it blocked up the whole alley, AND it was inconsiderate enough to do it right before Wednesday's garbage day.
Faced with the prospect of either Angry Garbage Men or figuring out where to get a chainsaw, how to work a chainsaw, and then the best way to apply a tourniquet for a severed limb on the way to the ER, I decided instead to pick an arborist out of the phone book at random.
And hey, look at that - the google algorithm paid dividends! These guys were great! I sent the "Help me! Dead tree!" mail about midnight Monday, STC got ahold of me straight away first thing Tuesday morning, had a man out to inspect the job about lunchtime and had the crew delivering my terrible vengeance upon the offending limb about 3.
They were professional, they were friendly, they were quick, and from what I gather talking to friends after the incident, competitively priced (the job was about 1,600 bucks in total). They got the limb off my friend's car without any additional damage and the Garbageman Crisis was averted.
I'd totally use them again! In fact, as soon as the credit card cools off, I'll have them back again to inspect the other couple of trees on the property and do any work necessary. Service: Tree removal

I hired Seattle Tree Care to trim some overgrown tree branches in a narrow space behind my house. It was a tricky project as a truck wouldn't fit in or near the space that needed trimming. Michael came to my property, took photos, and sent me an estimate with all the documentation I needed; he was very positive and knowledgeable and gave me confidence the project would be achievable. The day of David and his partner arrived on time (I'm so sorry I missed getting the other person's name) and took time and care to ensure it was trimmed to my and my neighbor's expectations. I am impressed by how they handled this project with a positive attitude and continual communication of what needed to be done. I highly recommend this team and look forward to working with them again when needed. Service: Tree trimming & pruning
