Ka Pow Thai On Wheels

This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in all of Seattle. It's a shame they currently run at such a small scale - limited hours, don't seem to get a ton of traffic so that when they get busy there's sometimes a wait to get your food. But it's worth it. They're extremely generous with their portions and most dishes I've had are actively delicious - not just tasty so that I'll order it again when I'm feeling it but so good I have a hard time not thinking of it when deciding to order out. There have been a few misses for me, but even then they're still passable in flavor and equally generous in portion. Their spice levels don't mess around - and this is coming from someone who regularly laughs in the face of the maximum spice options at all other restaurants. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. I'd recommend getting their namesake dish.

This is the best Thai takeout food in West Seattle. Located in a shared commissary kitchen on Delridge, parking can be tricky, but it's well worth the effort. Lamy is very sweet and works very hard to get the food out as quickly as possible. Just call their phone number when it's your pickup time and she'll bring it right out. They make slight changes to their menu every week, I would assume so as to try new recipes, or perhaps based on food availability, I don't think we've ever had a dish we didn't enjoy. Wonderful spot!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. We have ordered from here a few times since moving to the neighborhood and it does not disappoint! I will say that the Kow Rad Ka Pow Gai (medium spicy) was a little too spicy (I cried a bit while I ate it) but it was too good not to finish! They are normally super busy so be prepared to wait a bit longer than anticipated. It's definitely worth the wait though!
