We hired Bogdan to help configure the deployment and infrastructure of our research tools. Not only did he help improve our architecture in creative ways (Dockerization of existing projects, implementation of HIPAA security standards), he helped us to understand those improvements. This way we were able to cut costs, increase scalability, and more safely secure our sensitive data. Bogdan goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done well. Bogdan is a truly exceptional engineer. His execution of my recent Elastic Beanstalk / Docker deployment was flawless and completed within a compressed timeline. What I particularly appreciated, which is rare to find, was Bogdan's ability and willingness to add value where ever he spots it - whether explicitly "in-scope" or not. Examples include: (i) taking the time to clearly and thoughtfully articulate key decisions made in the deployment and (ii) identifying areas for improving my existing architecture and optimizing cost around some of my legacy deployment choices. Particularly for my "lean" company, a versatile engineer like Bogdan who is comfortable dropping into the code and making the necessary changes with minimal oversight is hugely valued. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
