The Cherwell ITSM application is very difficult to work with. It is absolutely unintuitive. I work for a fortune 200 global company (20,000+ employees), in Information Systems and every single person I know hates this software. There is bound to be a better solution available. If considering the Cherwell solution, make sure to do a PoC and get real world feedback from people actually using the Cherwell application, and you'll know what I mean. I've worked with a half-dozen service management solutions, and I am ITIL certified... this is the worse ITSM solution I've ever worked with. > Not intuitive AT ALL! > Search features are clunky and confusing > OOTB dashboards are all at a global reporting level (think incident reports) > Service Requests are actually a type of Incident Response (weird) > Linking Incident Responses to Change Requests, etc., has to be configured and then doesn't work as needed. > So many issues ongoing... sa...
