About
Seattle Fish Guys
The owner's Sal Panelo and Desiree Chinn's family grew up in Central District, Seattle. Sal's grandparents owned Linc's Fishing Tackle in Rainer and Desiree's dad graduated from Garfield Highschool. Sal has been in the Seafood business practically his whole life, starting out from high school in the early '80s working at Mutual Fish, then to Pike Place Fish, followed by being the Seafood Manager at Uwajimaya before having the opportunity to purchase City Fish seven years ago. We started Seattle Fish Guys to bring fresh quality seafood to local communities. Sal is truly a Fishmonger at heart and is always willing to ensure that customers get the freshest quality seafood and best service. He has made life-long friendships with loyal customers who have followed him since he was a teenager.

The place is great! We've been to Hawaii and had local cuisine including poke, BBQ, loco moco, etc.
We realized it was Hawaiian influenced so we were excited. Unfortunately, the clam chowder was damn good but way too salty. I love my clam chowdah and I used to live on the east coast so I have a great comparison. I honestly think they could hold their own against the East Coast if they lowered the salt amount. That's my only complaint on taste. My wife got two Poke and they were good but one of them was too salty but both were on the price side. If it was as good as we were thinking it would be I think we wouldn't have thought about the price.
We got the following - see photo (taken a day after purchase)
1 Clam Chowder (really salty)
1 Tuna poke (just a tad salty)
1 Tuna poke with a spicy mayo (Good)
1 Calemasi Cheesecake (Good)
1 Ube Cheesecake (Good)
And it was $125
