I have experienced many different therapy styles and visited many different therapists in my life and Ginger was the most ineffective therapist I have ever encountered. In our sessions she was mostly silent and offered little to no guidance leaving me to feel I was talking to a wall. After months of this and feeling like she wasnt helping to guide me I brought this up to her. Her response I cant just wave a magic wand and fix you I was crushed and have had difficulty trusting therapists since. The people who come to you do so because they need help and guidance not to be told they are something broken that requires fixing. I would think a therapist of all people would be receptive to constructive criticism. I truly hope she has become a better therapist since I saw her but my suggestion would be to not waste your money, time, and well being on this therapist.
