The Skye at Belltown Garage - Park ABM

Just moved into Skye at Belltown last week and this past Monday my car's passenger side window was smashed. I spoke to the attendant on duty and I asked if there were any cameras inside the garage. I was told to call the manager and was informed that there are no cameras set up in the garage and only one that is set up outside that the garage company doesn't have access to. What I don't understand is that it costs $198 for Skye residents to park in a garage, but the management doesn't provide adequate methods to deter incidents like this from happening. I get you can't completely stop crime from happening, but you can absolutely put deterrents in place, which I feel this garage doesn't do. We are given a device that allows us to press to open the garage when the attendant isn't there on the weekends, but why leave the garage door open unattended until 9AM on weekdays (that's when the attendant shows up). I believe a few deterrents would be to have the garage closed until an attendant is able to be on duty, install cameras inside the garage, and also have the attendant be more aware of people walking in and out of the garage. When I first went to get my monthly pass I wasn't even sure if anyone was even there because the attendant was behind the desk in the corner on his phone. To top it all off, I received an email a couple of days ago from parking management that monthly fees were increasing from $198 to $248. I'm not sure what justifies this increase if the parking garage cannot even provide adequate security for the vehicles parked here. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to start calling around to different garages as I feel that this garage is expensive and it doesn't provide adequate security for the vehicles parked there.
