I am a deaf anesthesiologist physician colleague of Dr. Ruffin. He is a top notch CI surgeon who is especially well gifted at what he does because he is deaf with cochlear implants himself. This gives him a level of empathy and compassion to his patients no other naturally hearing CI surgeon could have. Highly recommend.
