Dr. Wayne Weil, MD

I went in for a thumb strain and Dr Weil found an enchondroma in my index finger, as well as part of broken bone. He gave me options including surgery and waiting. I chose to wait, then decided to have the surgery. A year later, my hand and fingers are 2 million times stronger and I had no idea how limited the use of my hand had been prior to surgery. Dr Weil was very kind, detailed in his communication, I highly recommend him! Office staff at Wallingford location were also great.

I broke my right wrist on August 6, 2017. Yesterday Sepember 8, 2018, I was in a crosswalk on 65th and 24th and crossing with the light and a man made a right turn and plowed into me. As I landed, I put down my right wrist to brace the fall and not land on my head. My wrist helped me land gently. I'm convinced Doctor Weil's brilliant surgery on my wrist and the metal plate prevented me from a head injury. The medics and bystanders were shocked that I was reasonably okay considering I flew about three feet! I feel like a sore Wonder Woman! Thank you Doctor Weil.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This guy is a cutter, but not a great communicator. didn't seemed interested in anything going on with my broken wrist that wasn't easily detectable by X-ray and fixed by common surgery. I think there are other issues with my wrist that went undiagnosed and one year later I am not in full recovery.
