Dr. Sean Keem - Spine Surgeon

Dr Keem has performed two surgeries on me. A back fusion, and replaced two disks in my neck. Both were successful. I have recommended him to others, hes an excellent doctor.

I had major surgery on my neck four weeks ago by Dr Keem. I havent ever met a doctor who cares endlessly for me as a patient while taking such pride in his own work. I feel so much better and have already given Dr Keems name to a friend. I am so glad that after seeing two other doctors for opinions about my cervical spine problems I found Dr Keem. I felt so understood, comfortable and safe with him at our first meeting.

Earlier this year I began experiencing symptoms related to cervical stenosis. These symptoms caused a lot of pain, discomfort, and neurological difficulties. I noticed my mobility starting to suffer, along with my balance, and energy level. During my evaluation, Dr. Keem was very patient and addressed my questions and concerns. He was thorough and wanted to check multiple neurological functions. He explained my MRI and the source of my symptoms, and he let me know what my procedure would be like: two artificial discs that would allow me to maintain motion, take care of my symptoms, and allow me to return to an active lifestyle without restriction. His expertise and want to be conservative and minimally invasive were clear. I'm fortunate to have had such a skillful, compassionate, and professional surgeon. He visited my waiting room before surgery, was there when I woke up, and called my folks to let them know I was OK. I am now seven weeks out and almost 100%. Dr. Keem is the best!

Difficult to see actual surgeon. Scheduling doesn't listen.

This doctor ruined my life. He's a butcher. He botched a surgery that had to be corrected with a fusion by another surgeon. Not once after my surgery did he see me; instead, he had PA's see me, and the PA initially MISSED the problem on my xray following the surgery that I noticed. I am not alone in my experience. I have heard of others who have been harmed by this man. Now I have double the pain I had in my neck and additional referral symptoms than I did before surgery. Go with *anyone* else.
