A great team of folks with a great leader. If only they weren't allied with a Catholic hospital that won't guarantee honoring your end of life issues.

Dr. Sethi and team performed an extremely complicated back surgery on me and the results were spectacular! I can walk again and will soon be hiking, biking and doing all of the things that make my life enjoyable. Dr. Sethi and team gave me my life back.

I interviewed other neurosurgeons and Dr. Sethi was by far the most professional and interested in my situation. He and his assistant spent a long time explaining my medical situation, which was serious. He made time to do the surgery within days. I am very grateful to him. I think he may have saved my life.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE and Talented Neurosurgeon. I came to Virginia Mason with a sheared apart spine, which also has severe deformities and complications from multiple previously failed surgeries. Dr. Sethi is one of only about 4 Dr's in the country that could correct this type of extreme break and understand the deformities and failures well enough to come up with the right solution. He kept me in the hospital for 2 weeks, completing a major reconstruction of the spine, and securing the thoracic spine to the lumbar spine. For the first time in years, I can stand up straight (despite extreme curvature remaining in the thoracic and cervical spine). I did end up with intercostal nerve damage, unexpectedly, and he was willing to try a seldom-used procedure to try and correct it. This second surgery by Dr. Sethi improved that issue quite a bit. Still a work in progress, but definitely hopeful. Dr. Sethi and most of his team are very competent and helpful. You do have to be careful of the Virginia Mason "team approach" with other units, because the Dr's from other organizations will team up against another Dr at times. Like bullies, pretty much. Very interesting to see that dynamic in Dr's over 50. Anyway, remind them that it is your health care, and you are the decision maker - then they back off a bit. I did not encounter that with Dr. Sethi, though I did with other Dr's at Virginia Mason, who are not Neurosurgeons, and quite frankly do not know what they are talking about. I highly recommend Dr. Sethi and his team! Absolutely INCREDIBLE and Talented Neurosurgeon. I came to Virginia Mason with a sheared apart spine, which also has severe deformities and complications from multiple previously failed surgeries. Dr. Sethi is one of only about 4 Dr's in More
