This is without a doubt the worst medical clinic I have ever been to. If you care about your valuable time at all, please keep reading. Otherwise practice your patience and enjoy your long wait. I will start by stating that the doctors at this clinic are quite good and respectful. My knee is recovering well after surgery, and everything is holding up quite well. HOWEVER, the scheduling and wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I spend way less time in a Walk-In Clinic than my *scheduled* appointment here. On my actual surgery day, I waited a whopping 7 hours before taken back. If they were running behind and what not, they should have told me to go home and call me when they were ready instead of making me sit on a hospitable bed with nothing to do for hours. For my follow ups, I waited 45-60 mins both times in the actual room before I was seen. On the last visit, after I was seen by the doctor, it took another 30 mins before I could get scheduled for my next one. Upon scheduling, they confirmed the time and date with me for my next appt. Yesterday I showed up because that was the time/date I was confirmed (in hindsight I should have called first since I did not see an email reminder); I got there and they didn't even have me scheduled! So I had the joy of driving back in rush hour for no reason. This was a very frustrating experience, and I will not be going back. If you have unbelievable patience (which I thought I did until coming here), I'd say do it since the doctors are great! But if you have better things to do than waste your time waiting and waiting, find a different place.

Almost 3 weeks. Use a cane when outside shopping. No edema. No pain. Dr Hernandez is the best! My other hip gets replaced end of September. Here I am with Olympic medalist Billy Mills! A celebration of his life with a run or walk 2 months after my hip replacement. Im 71.

Dr Lack is a great orthopedic surgeon who did a fantastic job on my injured knee. Great bedside manner and patiently explains things and listens to your questions. UW Medical system in general is top-notch.

Dr. Fitz is a hip and knee surgeon will impeccable credentials and is the consummate professional. He preformed a total hip replacement for me and the procedure went beautifully. Any anxiety I felt prior to surgery was (understandable) but unnecessary. If my other hip needs replacing at some point I'll absolutely call Dr. Fitz.
