He is the best of the best. He explains everything very well. And importantly he listens and anwsers all questions you have. I am in remission becauce of his great knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Marzbani is extraordinary, a true gem, and the best of the best! He has been my saving grace during my breast cancer journey. I cannot imagine finding a better doctor. Im so grateful to have him. He always finds time to listen to my worries and make me feel better. He cares genuinely about his patients. He is incredibly kind, thoughtful, honest, extremely knowledgeable, explains complex information in a way I can understand, and has an amazing way of making me feel calm during very challenging times. Im beyond grateful to have found him and anyone going through cancer will be lucky to have him on their team. Both my partner and I have often left appointments with him saying to each other, wow, he really found his calling in life! He always makes us feel confident that we are on the right path with my treatment.

My experience with Dr. Mazbani could not have been any better. Facing metastasized oral cancer, he designed the chemo therapy treatments to minimize a likely potential negative side effect of permanent hearing loss. I was struck by how he always had time to answer any of my myriad questions and seemed to care genuinely in how I was doing day to day. He approached my treatment aiming to cure my cancer with minimum treatment discomfort and elimination of lasting negative side effects from the therapy. I have spoken with two other patients of Dr. Mazbani who also praise his skill and communication ability - interestingly enough they are also oral cancer patients at SCCA. Additionally, my son who is a medical doctor (internal medicine) and a "tough grader" was very impressed with Dr. Mazbani, his treatment and his communication skills. As of this week, I had am 9 months post treatment and just had my regular follow up and CT scan - no recurrence at this point. Nothing is guaranteed with this disease, but I expect to be cancer free for a very long time. I wish to thank Dr. Mazbani, Dr Larimar and all the staff at SCCA for their expert care helping me arrive at a very positive prognosis.
