Sara has been amazing Agent. She helped walk me through both the selling and the buying process while offering me insightful advices. She was able to help me sell my condo and help me purchase my dream home. I was worried that I was not going to close in time while I had to leave out of town but everything went smoothly and she helped make the home selling and buying process exciting. Put simply, Sara Starr Poulsen is totally fabulous. My partner and I met her after finding a house we loved in March of 2021. We didnt know her yet, and she was super responsive and let us in right away to see it. After meeting her we didnt want to work with anyone else (and Ive worked with other realtors in the past, so I dont say that lightly). We werent ready to buy at that time, but she gave us all the tips and we followed the market and the new listings she sent us (almost daily) for nearly a year before we were ready. This gave us a great idea of what to expect. Because we were extremely picky and specifically wanted an old house that needed some work, but not too much (to put it in our price range and still have old features), we worked with her extensively until we found just the right ones to bid on. The 2022 Spring market was so competitive that we almost gave up, but she gave her ALL to find us just the right one. Although we lost a couple bids (3rd time was the charm in our case), she still gave us the upper hand every time. When we finally won the bid and got THE house, we looked back on all the other ones and are so, so thankful that we didnt end up with any of the others. She truly got us the house of our dreams and guided us through the entire process with grace and style. Her partner, Jeanette, showed us houses when Sara was booked, and Jeannette was just as fabulous. We cant recommend Sara, Jeanette, and the Metropolist Team enough- especially having worked with them for over a year. Biggest advice: be specific, tell Sara what you want, what you expect, and by gosh shell make it happen. It may take time (and a little patience with this crazy Seattle market), but this lady has serious game and is very well connected with finance teams, local recommendations, etc. Oh, and we were welcomed to the new home with chilled champagne, a welcome basket, and she even dropped by a little gift on the front porch after we moved in. These Metropolist ladies rule!

Sara was lovely to work with! Our decision to enter the market was rather abrupt as our dream home suddenly became available although we didn't yet have a good understanding of the home buying process. Sara was immediately responsive to our inquiry and helpful in guiding us through the somewhat daunting process. By the end of the week we had toured the home, got prequalified for a loan, and submitted our offer. She was very knowledgeable about the current market and advocated for us every step of the way. In the end, we actually got our home for under list price, which is nearly unheard of in this market. We highly recommend Sara and would definitely work with her again!
