Michael is an incredible and knowledgeable agent who was able to guide us through the difficult process of purchasing a home in Seattle. While some agents are very pushy to get you to buy as soon as possible, Michael was able to help us remove the rose colored glasses and pass on houses that would have been risky, while helping us bid properly on the perfect home for us. I would recommend him highly especially if you are interested in Northwest Seattle, where he is very in tune with the local market. As an added bonus, he's very knowledgeable about plants and acted as our personal botanist when we had questions about a house's landscaping :D

My husband and I retired and moved to Seattle from New York last summer. We were new to the area and rented an apartment while we looked for a house to buy. Michael Pollack showed us many houses in several suburbs, and while doing that, he patiently watched and listened to our preferences. His observations at various home sites were very helpful; he pointed out proximity to nearby freeways and commercial properties (often diminishing a property's attraction) as well as to downtown centers and nice views (usually increasing a property's attraction). Within a home, he pointed out nice architectural features and landscaping. He looked for listings that fit our desires (within our price range), and would alert us quickly when he found one that possibly fit. He was never "pushy" getting us interested any property. In summary, he wanted us to find a home that we could truly love to live in and share with our family and friends, and he waited until we found that property.

Michael helped us between Oct and December 2020 for our first home purchase in Issaquah, Washington. As first time home buyers we did not understand the process, what to look for in a home, bidding clauses etc. Michael was very patient in helping us understand the process as well as taking time out to tour multiple houses. He was also very flexible while preparing offers and was willing to accommodate late night meetings to walk me through the bid/clauses during weekdays when my day was busy with work. We saw ~20+ high quality homes, which were filtered to our likes/budget by Michael before visits and grouped together so we would have to spend less time and visit high quality choices. Michael also shared the overview in print outs at the start of each visit and via mail prior so we could prepare ourselves for the day and do some prior research. Thanks to all his efforts, we had a fantastic home buying experience. Before meeting Michael, we were about to buy a townhome but thanks to all the visits we ended up getting our dream home in Issaquah highlands. Michael helped us through multiple bids including a home where we had a successful offer but later rescinded due to findings from the inspection. During closing of the home in Issaquah Highlands, Michael took the trouble of finding a better loan offer than what I currently had and worked to find a leasing agent who would accept RSUs as income. Last but not the least, Michael had great leads and tips on furnishing the house post closing which definitely helped us furnish the home better and faster. Overall, I would definitely recommend Michael for his due diligence, patience and amazing inputs for anyone looking to buy/sell homes in Washington.
