huge portions of malatong with super broth and lots of meat / veggies! service was very fast and friendly. this place is truly authentic taiwanese food!

I was a little disappointed when I met a Chinese-speaking customer waiter who asked them to scan the QR code to order. When I met a white foreigner waiter, I took the menu and personally ordered why tho. The menu that came out after scanning the QR code was also in English and the food was getting worse and worse. It will still be delicious in 2022

I'm a big fan of Taiwanese food and have visited Taiwan, so I was excited to try 19 Gold Taiwanese Restaurant. The food here is the real deal, just like what you'd find in Taiwan. The service was good, even though the staff might seem a bit reserved at first. But don't let that fool you; they really do care about making sure you have a great experience. They even held my table when I got stuck in traffic, and the waitress was super helpful in explaining how to order from their website and suggesting what to try. One moment that stood out was when I dropped my chopsticks. Before I could even ask for new ones, a waiter was there with replacements in no time. It's that kind of attention to detail that makes this place special. Overall, if you're craving authentic Taiwanese food, 19 Gold is the place to go.
