Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Airport

This is a very nice hotel designed for a long-term stay. Free hot breakfast, comfortable rooms. Also, this hotel is dog friendly and is situated on Angel Lake with great walking areas.

Pricing has gotten out of control at this location since under new management / ownership. Previously was a tremendous location. They used to have a shuttle to the airport - gone. They used to have a happy hour with free beer and snack - gone. They used to give parking to titanium elite members for free - gone. They used to have clean rooms - gone. The $20/night for parking feels like a total rip off when they don't even monitor who parks in their lot, and have had multiple vehicles broken into while parked here. The apartment building adjacent to the lot frequently has their tenants parking in the hotel lot with absolutely zero repercussions. This wouldn't be a problem if there was plenty of parking, but coming back to the hotel after 10PM routinely yields zero spaces available. The cleanliness of the rooms has been a problem of late as well. I actually found dog feces in my room last year, under the desk, and was offered a measly 10,000 Marriott points (less than 1 nights stay) as compensation. The breakfast quality has also declined over the last year and a half. Powdered eggs and the same reheated waffles every day. They used to have breakfast sandwiches / bacon / mini quiches, etc, but have clearly continued to cut costs while raising room prices. Can't recommend this location.
