Dr Egan took care of my father over the past year and a half. He is the above and beyond care kind of doctor that anyone would want if dealing with cancer. He is very responsive to alternative suggestions, outside consultations and speaking with family members. He is a highly intelligent and caring physician. He is now considered a friend of the family.

Mr. Egan and Swedish Hospital charged me a $100 "Facility Fee" and a duplicated physicians fee for $30. I had to make countless calls to my insurance and to the Office of Personal Management to dispute these transactions, and was partially refunded. There is absolutely no information about their fees on Swedish's website, and in all documents provided the facility, Dr. Egan, GEHA, or anywhere else. The surprise charges are completely unfair as their is absolutely no evidence of my consent to be charged these fees. The information he provided me was completely worthless. I learned nothing from my visits from him. He asked me to come in for an office visit, which had to be scheduled over a month in advance. When I showed up on time, he showed up 20 minutes late and told me his nurse forgot to take my vitals. He immediately told me I was fine without doing any sort of assessment on my status at the time. He later rubbed my neck to check for lymph nodes, which he found none, and said that a nurse would take my vitals, which they failed to do. Anything he told me is something that I could have found out easily with a simple Google search. The whole appointment lasted only 10 minutes, and was folllowed up by a 10 minute phone call. In total, I was billed $190 without my consent for only 20 minutes of worthless consultation with him. I have had dozens of doctors in my life, but never have I written a negative review about any of them until now. Please be aware that this guy is a quack who works in a disorganized facility that charges excessive and surprise fees. Do not waste your money and time here.
