I do not recommend this car wash at all, it is VERY poorly calibrated and the rear brushes were pounding on the car so violently causing the car to shake like crazy and also nearly broke off both side mirrors and almost rammed into the car when it tried to move to the front of the bay while the rear brushes BARLEY retracted in time while moving super fast! The price is good for $9 but it sure is not operating safely. but out and about my car is now clean so mission accomplished.

I was driving north on I-5 and needed gas, so I looked for gas stations with the quickest detour. This location fit the bill. This Shell station does not have a well-kept appearance from the outside. It looks run down. Also, there's a bicycle that's been spray painted a solid white hanging from a power line that's right next to their roadside sign. I suppose this isn't the Shell station's fault, but it adds to the atmosphere of this being a crumby place to buy gas in a not-so-amazing part of town. The gas here is expensive. I always just fill my tank up. When I saw that gas was $5.30 per gallon here, I just prepaid $20, figuring I'd fill up elsewhere. Interestingly, I had to prepay. I couldn't stick my card into the reader at the pump. Something was obstructing the card slot. When you go inside, there's a glass partition in front of the employees. There are scratches all over the displays on the gas pump, but over the display that tells you to insert your card and over the display that shows you how much gas has been pumped and what the cost is. There's also an air pump and carwash at this location. I suppose that's all the important stuff. I didn't feel endangered while here, but I didn't feel absolutely safe either. I should also add that the inside of the gas station is clean.
