Liz really listened to both sides and worked out a fair settlement for everyone involved. She was caring, empathetic, supportive, and gave us great advice about the court system. She's been incredibly patient and helpful with our questions about splitting assets. Couldn't have asked for a better person to handle such a tough situation.

Terrible experience. You have to constantly remind her of contract details and she just disappears for days/weeks without responding to emails, and then gets angry at you for emailing her too many times. We had SIX rounds of contract revisions because she couldnt get the details straight. I ended up doing most of the work and we are STILL waiting for it to be filed. Shes just disappeared. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Liz Steen is an incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable attorney. She has advised me on many occasions, informing me of my options and is dedicated to discerning the best path forward for all. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are able to avoid the court route, then this is the optimal option. It is so uncommon to find a lawyer that truly cares about the result and not the bottom line. Cannot say enough good things about how fantastic of experience this was for me, all things considered (divorce is not fun!)
