Do not trust what they said. I ended up paying over $1600 instead of the $300 they initially quoted me during my first visit. I visited this clinic on the university campus last year for a root canal procedure. Recognizing that dental work is often expensive, I proactively inquired about the cost before proceeding with the treatment. I was informed that my responsibility as a patient would amount to $314.85. Subsequently, I signed a consent form at the clinic, agreeing to move forward. However, upon completion of the treatment and receipt of the bill, I was shocked to learn that I was now required to pay an additional $1309.88, making the total bill $1623.88. The explanation provided was that the initial quote was merely an estimate and that a "human error" had caused this substantial discrepancy. It seems evident that this clinic lacks a proper understanding of the term 'estimate,' expecting patients to bear the brunt of their mistakes. Furthermore, they escalated the billing to a collection agency, leaving me with little choice but to reluctantly pay the full amount. Prospective patients should approach this clinic with caution. Ideally, I hope their clientele consists solely of individuals with significant financial means, as it appears their intent is to extract funds to the last drop.
