This is a great dentists office to work with if youre trying to overcome dental phobia. I went from having panic attacks just talking about teeth to getting dental care for the first time in over a decade with their help. They were flexible and were able to split up the visit into many smaller visits which were easier to stomach. They also recognised me and my needs each time I entered the building which made me feel safe and cared for. They seem very flexible to go at your pace and do things in a way that you are comfortable with.

The whole team at Espresso Dental is so 5-star! I already loved them and have been going to them for a while, but today I was going in for a crown - expensive and painful, but sometimes necessary. They squeezed me into their schedule to accommodate a trip I have coming up, which is challenging because crowns take a long time and require 2 appointments 2-weeks apart. When I got in there today, upon further examination - I'll spare the details- but it turned out all I needed was a filling replacement! Much cheaper for me and less invasive. This team puts patients first - plus they're kind, patient and even fun! I trust them implicitly and I think you will too!

I have been going to this dentist for years and they have given me the same kind of treatment, care, attention, and friendliness throughout several varying levels of insurance quality. I always get a breakdown of cost and an overview of the potential alternatives to a required treatment. The staff is fantastic and I do have the impression that they all really enjoy working there, which makes such a difference. Sometimes the staff and I pick up from a conversation we had months before, which people still remember. This business is run via establishing a relationship and the people here genuinely do not want to make a quick buck with you. And the coffee and cookies - who wouldn't like that! I still come here from West Seattle. Highly recommend.

As much as I love the quirky, sweet environment (plants! Coffee! Cookies! Planet Earth on TV! Really great receptionists and dental hygenists!) I can't recommend Connie as a dentist. At my final visit here, after having been told I had perfect teeth at previous visits and by the dental hygienists at this visit, Connie told me I'd been grinding my teeth at night, but not to worry, they just bought a super expensive, top-of-the-line machine for making mouth guards. Something about that timing sent my spidey senses tingling, and I got a second opinion, at which point I learned that there is no evidence that I'm grinding my molars down. This felt like a scam. I won't be coming back.

I visited espresso dental for a long overdue checkup and cleaning. They said I would have needed 4 separate 1 1/2 hour deep cleaning sessions for each quadrant, they also stated that I would need severs cavities filled and possibly a root canal. Totaling over 5 separate visits. I felt in my gut that something felt off, so I went to get a second opinion at my old childhood and young adult dentist that I havent been to for several years. They also concluded that I needed a deep cleaning, there was zero mention of cavities or a root canal, this was after having x-rays at both offices. That deep cleaning at my other dentist only took 2 sessions totaling 2 1/2 hours. So I dont know if anyone else has experienced this here while also getting a second opinion, but this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.
