I am writing a review for Dr. Bobby Butler having now seen him twice with 20 years in between each appointment. I am a clinician and have practiced for 30 years treating patients and am acutely aware of how patients should be treated. Being in private practice one tends to go the extra mile for their patients and Bobby did just that. He was professional, courteous to his staff, and sensitive to the level of anxiety I have around dentistry. He is by far a seasoned clinician that has established a reputation within the community and among clinicians as being one of the best. Outstanding!

Super professional and caring staff. I was nervous to get my surgery done, but Dr. OBeirne and team had me at ease and comfortable the whole time. They made it really easy to look back and be nothing but impressed with and grateful for the work done.

Being a physician and surgeon, I am acutely aware of when I am speaking with a doctor that is at the top of her profession,  Dr. O'Beirne is clearly that.   I received a referral to her through one of my patients who raved about her.  She told me that my gum recession, which had been the main topic of concern with my previous dentist, was not at the level of concern.  She had some concrete ideas of why I was having some sensitivity issues, fixed it on the spot, and recommended I not come back for a few year after taking photos to carefully document the current condition of my teeth.  She gave me some practical advice about using expanding floss and answered all of my questions.  She had a fantastic, non rushed bedside manner.  She asked great questions.  To the other reviewer that got mad that she spent time with a patient that needed her, I would say that as a surgeon I absolutely spend extra time if needed with people.  That does not mean that I won't pay attention to you during a surgery when you are in need.  That was a ridiculous conclusion to draw from your experience.  This is a medical office and not a drive through coffee shop.  You might have to wait for good doctors and that is why they are good.  I would recommend this office without hesitation.

I was referred to Dr O'Beirne by my dentist, this is a reminder to do my own research prior to accepting a referral. I spent most of my first appointment in a chair looking out the window as Dr. O'Beirne evidently tended to a different client (whose entire health history I could over hear from where I sat). At the end of an hour during which no one checked on me I got up to leave to get back to work, at which point Dr. O'Beirne explained that she had been 'hung up' during my appointment. We made a follow up to actually have the consult that was the reason for this appointment, but I canceled to find a provider that actually attends to their clients (what if Dr. O'Beirne gets 'hung up' during my surgery?). Even canceling the follow up wasn't a good experience - I didn't receive confirmation of the cancellation, and received two reminders to show up. I called the office to confirm the cancellation, Karen mentioned that she got my request and that their systems aren't in sync. Nice customer service, Karen! I guess you're a good match for the doc. Anyhow, poor experience all-around as a first-time client, I would avoid.
