Our 2 yo son was at Aunties Playhouse for 10 weeks while we were waiting for a spot at a program that some family friends go to. Our sons time at Aunties was terrific! It was his first time at daycare and the teachers were so compassionate and caring about helping him (and us!) get past the first few drop offs. By morning 4-5 he stopped crying at drop off and he would just shout bye! as we were still hugging him and then run off to play or join morning story time. Probably the most profound thing for us is that before he started at Aunties our son had a diagnosed speach delay and was only using maybe 3 words regularly despite 4-5 visits with a Speach Therapist. Within a week of starting at Aunties Playhouse we already heard 5+ new words, and by three weeks he probably had 20-25+ words. We really were astounded. As first-time parents this was such a relief! I could see how the teachers greeting the kids on arrival and encouraging the kids to greet each other and participate in reading circles and singing activities truly made a huge difference for our sons development. One night at bedtime our son started spontaneously singing Twinkle twinkle little starwe never sang him that and it was the most words he ever said in a row until that point. We nearly fell over out of surprise/joy. A couple of other things I really valued: + being new to daycare, we just loved getting the photo updates during the day. As working parents, it was just great to see him happily playing, painting, snacking etc. + So convenient that Aunties Playhouse supplies lunch! Simplified our life + our son was noticeably more open to eating table foods at home because he was trying lots of different foods at Aunties + Aunties has an organized walkie-talkie system so they can call in another teacher when the classroom gets to a certain number or if a kid needs a cool-down walk etc. I found this really professional and the result is that its not a big deal to drop off earlier than your usual time occasionally if you have an important meeting or whatever + Open until 6! We usually picked up by 5:20 or so but a few times when things came up at the end of our workdays it was so great that it wasnt an emergency to get there at our typical time Our family had a great experience at Aunties Playhouse, and would definitely recommend it!

Aunties playhouse is amazing!! My daughter has been attending since she was 3 & my son started here as well & has been attending since he was 1. Both my children LOVE going to school. They absolutely love all their aunties! I can honestly say I couldnt ask for a better place for my children to attend, they love & care for your children as if they were their own! I get multiple pictures and updates on my children throughout the whole day. They even have a app that allows me to chat with their aunties whenever I have questions, or just simply want to check how my child is doing. Before I enrolled them into here, I checked out a few other centers, but felt at home when I entered here and my children adapted so fast! Thank you Renee & all other aunties for proving a safe, loving & leaning center for my children and all others!!
