A Place For Kids Child Care

My child was only here for four days. In those four days she was overfed or she was given spoiled milk because they did not pay attention to the half life rule. She also got a HORRIBLE diaper rash which didn't go away for 2 weeks even after going to the ER and getting medication for it. I highly do NOT recommend this facility. She has been in her new daycare for weeks now and we haven't had a single issue from them. This place however, is not "A Place for Kids", I don't recommend any children (young babies specifically) to attend this one. I am unsure of how the older children are treated, but I've never felt so helpless than when I couldn't console my daughter while she was in such pain.

I have sent my son and now daughter to a place for kids for many years. The best part about A Place for Kids is their staff. Romana has built a team that puts the care, education and safety of the children first. The highest recommendation i can give a daycare center is my continued patronage and I don't see myself moving my son out of A place for kids until he goes to Kindergarten.

My son has been at APFK for four years. Any daycare is only as good as the staff, and the core group of teachers has been there since we started and has always provided excellent loving care. The strongest recommendation I can give is that when we had our second child we didn't think twice about enrolling her there as well. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because I feel like the ownership doesn't provide adequate support for staff in terms of replacing toys, books, art supplies, etc, and I'm sure staff salaries are not as high as they should be for all their hard work.

My daughter was with APFK since she was two. Now that she's in Kindergarten she misses the teachers and is always asking to go visit and see them. She loves Ramona, Kim and Richelle. The school may not have the frills and the owners don't provide nearly the funds for the teachers but they still fill it with love, creativity and crafts - they truly make it work. I've been so impressed with what she learned in that school and how they treated her. They always take the time to teach the hard lessons with love, compassion and kindness. I never saw them treat a kid badly even if it was troubled child or acted out. They show this in everything they do for this school, the hours they put in and the dedication to the children. You can't do better than APFK. I wish my daughter was still able to go there. They have heart that a lot of places do not. Owners: Give the teachers more funds. They are not paid enough for all they do for your place.

I had 2 of my kids attend a place for kids from 4months to 5 yrs old.they were always excited to go to school every day.  They made connections with each of thier teachers and made life long friends with fellow students .they are 15 and 12 now. Before the pandemic they would pop in and say hello to the teachers on their way home from school. I never had any issues with communication from staff when pick or dropping off my children, or when voicing my mild concerns. I also have a 5yr old who left for kindergarten and she is thriving from her experience.
