Bright Horizons at Interbay

We recently transferred our son to a different Bright Horizon's location and can confirm that the BH Interbay is a wonderful and special place. Our son started at 6 months and transferred out at 2.5 so we saw the infant, toddler and EP program first hand and all are outstanding. Its hard as a working parent to send your child somewhere you can't monitor them, especially when they can't communicate if something is wrong, but my son sprinted into the center everyday and couldn't wait for us to leave. Pretty much all the staff knew my son by name down to the chef and everyone seemed to be happy to be there. I would also say from a peace of mind perspective that the BH app is amazing in keeping us up to speed on what is going on at the center and the Interbay staff is incredibly diligent about protocol and procedure which gives us high confidence that everything is way above board. The center Director Joelle is outstanding blending high professionalism with genuine care and understanding- if we could transport her to our new center we would. The center is well maintained and run exceptionally well and they are choosing to invest in new programs like the art teacher they just hired. BH in general is a pricey center but I can speak very confidently that not all Bright Horizons are created equal and Interbay never made us doubt we were getting what we paid for.

We have been very satisfied with Bright Horizons at Interbay. 3 years ago our kid started in the infant class and transitioned into the toddler, early preschool and now in preschool program. We felt very well supported at each transition and knew exactly what to expect. The teachers have been patient and caring across all classes so far and our kid still loves interacting with teachers whenever we catch them in hallway. Teachers are well trained to teach kids how to be independent, interact socially and handling emotions by providing right support even when the kids are non verbal or have limited vocabulary. Our kid has thrived in the play based environment. The center has an inclusive culture, making people from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed. The full day program tuition includes breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks which has been a blessing for working parents like us.

We absolutely loved visiting Bright Horizons at Interbay for back up care. My daughter was in the KP classroom and my son was in Early Preschool. The teachers were very helpful in engaging my children during drop off as they were hesitant to be in a new place, and I got wonderful updates in my daily report email at the end of the day.

If you're on the fence about starting daycare, Bright Horizons -Interbay will help transition your little one and your entire care team. Starting from the top, the leadership team is top notch. They go above any beyond for all little ones, teachers, and parents. I am incredible impressed with them multiple communication channels available to parents. They have a mobile app to see updates on how your LO is doing, weekly emails, monthly connects. parent/teach conferences, and the drop-off/pick-up "quick idea" chats. They also appreciate and promptly act / test out ideas to see how they play out because they truly care about providing a safe and secure location for our littles. Our daughter transitioned from the Infant room to Toddlers, and we all felt supported through the entire transition. My favorite part of the the Toddler Program is that the kids go outside as much as possible. Living in Washington, we all know the value of being outdoors and my favorite part is picking up our daughter from the outside playground. All of the teachers are welcoming and warm. The weekly menu is balanced and nutritious, and even gives parents some ideas on what to make on the weekends. :) The activities they do with kids are also great ideas to incorporate on sick days / center closure days. We have met some amazing families and this location has been creative by setting up family playdates in the Movement Room for parents to connect with the other families in the same age range.

Weve been at Bright Horizons Interbay since July 2023 starting in the infant room and now in the toddler room. We love it here and feel very grateful for the community! Every single teacher and staff member weve met and worked with is incredible and shows they really care for our child. From the start, the director and assistant director have been incredibly supportive, welcoming, beyond helpful and accommodating. The teachers in the infant room were instrumental in helping us feel comfortable and confident in the transition to daycare- they are such a big part of our daughters life and we really love them! Our daughter has learned and grown so much during her time at BH so far. Cant say enough good things about the people here- very grateful for a safe place to take my child where I know shes cared for so well! She loves it too! An extra perk- the parking situation is a dream compared to every other childcare place Ive seen. That and the fact they arent closed super often has been very helpful with mine and my partners work schedules.
