I have worked with 3 different counselors from this organization in the last 7 years and have nothing but good things to say. My counselors have been incredibly attentive and caring, while encouraging me to move forward even if things got difficult. I have made great strides with their help! I’ve read other reviews that focus on the organization’s business policies and must respond: yes, this is a business, employing professionals, so that we can benefit from what they offer; as such they must have policies in place to ensure it can keep it’s doors open and continue to help those who need them. I for one am thankful for that, and confident in their services.

My therapist Nicola is great, the office is nice and peaceful and parking in the garage beneath the building is convenient. My only issue is that it is in the heart of downtown and with traffic getting there during certain times can be very difficult. Overall one of the best therapy experiences I have had.

I was laid off from my job (and immediately lost insurance) in the midst of an already precarious mental health state, and my therapist did not return my calls for several days. The day of our scheduled appointment she called two hours before to let me know that she regretted to inform me that we could not work together anymore unless I paid out of pocket for a discharge session. This organization prioritizes its pursuit of profits ahead of the health and wellness of its clients. GO *LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE* for your mental healthcare.

Terrible. How do places like this stay in business. People call when they have mental health needs, and it is a difficult call to make. Instead of making it easy, they make it as difficult as possible. They do not return phone calls promptly, then they discriminate against you depending on which insurance you have, then they say you cannot be put on a list for service, so just call back everyday to see if we have someone who will take your insurance. Really pathetic. They run your mental health like a McDonalds. Avoid.

This was a terrible experience. The appointment cancellation policies were not stated in my intake phone call, and at my first appointment this was one of the first things addressed. There was no flexibility to the policy, which would charge full price if not cancelled a week in advance. Megan's response to my asking about flexibility was this, " Well, If we made exceptions for everyone, " My situation is one where emergencies happen frequently, yet even as a medical practice there was no empathy. Additionally Megan Irving was unfriendly, discourteous and cold. I was really hopeful when I contacted Wellspring Counseling. I left very disappointed.
