Heart Institute at UW Medical Center - Montlake

I was really circling the drain 6 yrs ago before Dr. Fishbein Got me on a plan that reduced by BP to normal. Prior had scents put in at uw Valley still working fine.

I was transferred to UW Heart Institute in March 2025 by critical transport. I can't say enough about the staff or physicians I was sent to see Dr. Macabe and I'm in the Heart failure clinic. The staff takes their time and don't treat you like cattle running in and out and that your just a number.. they really take their time they explain what the next steps are they ask for your opinion they actually sit and talk to get to know their patients. That goes along way in my book....Thanks UW Heart Institute Mountlake

Thank you Dr Chris Burke for excellent care almost 4 years ago for open heart surgery. Cardiac ICU nurses and step down team are top notch.

I was seen in 2020 and had an Lvad # put in, we went through some pretty tough times, but my team was awesome. I grew so close to them and then 2023. I had to have a heart transplant and that went really well. I love five north east the floor I was on all the nurses were great. I cant say enough I pop in just to say hi now and get hugs so Im not forgotten.
