Dr. Patel is wonderful and provides very professional personalized care.   He really listens and addresses your concerns.  It is nice to be included in my plan of care.  Dr. Patel is very responsive and has taken my phone calls after hours in follow up. Thank you Dr. Patel for providing such amazing care to your patients.  I feel so much better because of the care you have given me.

Dr. Patel was great to work with, straight forward and always open to additional questions.  He gave me guidance and advice moving forward after my heart attack.   That said, his office staff was horrible to work with!  I moved to Chicago and was in transition to find a new primary doctor and cardiologist.  My meds ran low and needed to be refilled.  I was in-between medical plans as I had just recently retired and was slow to find a new doctor.   I called Doctor Patel's office and explained my situation to Kathy as she took charge.  Kathy put me on trial as to why I had not secured a new doctor.   She pointed to me as the problem and would do nothing to help the situation. I explained that I was still Dr. Patel's patient but, she would have none of that.  Kathy denied my multiple requests for a refill of my meds.  She knew best not to refill my prescription, even though I saw Dr. Patel just  3 months earlier.   I told Kathy that I would like to talk with Dr. Patel to discuss my dilemma. She sternly replied that it would not make a difference but, would let him know.  Needless to say, I received no phone call back.  I was uneasy having one day of meds remaining, so, I did make an appointment at the last minute here in Chicago explaining my situation. The new office was very accommodating.  A great Doctor at the polyclinic, but beware if you need help and deal with Kathy & the front office in a pinch you could be screwed...  And yes 3 weeks after, I'm still waiting for a call back from Dr. Patel.  I suspect Kathy never told him I was looking for a refill of my meds or a call back...
